Problem finding the Scan-axis encoder reading
Remedy
1. Switch the power off from the back of the product and disconnect the power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power on the product. 2. Make sure that the encoder strip is clean. If the encoder strip is dirty, clean it, paying special attention to the area near the Service Station. See Cleaning the Encoder Strip. 3. Clean the encoder sensor. 4. Replace the Encoder Sensor.
